Your Platform Upgrade - Everything You Need to Know

All Cloud Assess accounts are upgrading to our latest platform from 12th July 2026, or book an earlier date that suits you. Your data, logins and integrations stay the same.

What's happening?

We're upgrading all Cloud Assess accounts to our latest platform. This is an automatic upgrade with no user action required. Once you're upgraded, you'll notice a refreshed interface and useful improvements.

What's changing?

  • New Content Designer - Includes new field types, new behaviours and AI-assisted features.

  • The New Activity Record - Supporting the functionalities of the New Content Designer.

  • The Mobile App - Supporting all new functionality across the platform.

Upgrade Highlights*

Power Users & Admins

  • New setup pages for ‘creating an activity’

  • New layout within revisions

  • New functionality of the built-in designer

  • Support for new fields and activity options

  • Rich text editing in tables

  • Instant auto-save (no more Save button anywhere apart from Forms)

Assessors

  • Final marking outcome at the top of the screen

  • Incorrect responses unchanged will have an orange bar (blue bar once changed)

  • The platform will take you to the fields that require your attention (reattempts)

  • Instant auto-save (no more Save button)

Learners & Third Parties

  • Section Navigators (centre and side)

  • Improved font and styling

  • Decluttered activities

  • Incorrect responses automatic navigation (reattempts)

  • Instant auto-save (no more Save button)

What's NOT changing?

  • Your data, learner records, and content - all intact

  • Your integrations and existing workflows

  • How you access Cloud Assess (same URL, same login)

What downtime might occur?

The upgrade takes no longer than a few seconds, so you can expect minimal to no disruption. It will take place at your preferred time and date if you schedule your switch, or from Sunday 12th July 2026 if we don't hear from you.
